“The fish is so fresh. Batter is thin and crispy, gorgeous flavour. Chips are fresh and very large portions. I also order delivery from here. I’m making myself hungry just thinking about food from here. Amazing!”

“The place to come for seafood cooked and served with a light touch or some mouth-wateringly tasty good old-fashioned fish and chips.”
Jen Wight, View London
“The restaurant menu has an extremely wide variety of offerings. Traditional battered fish are made using homemade beer batter, which is light and pleasingly devoid of the cloying, sickly grease that can so often make a battered fish unpalatable after the first few mouthfuls, and served with plentiful piping hot chips…
…For those of you who shy away from the carbohydrate festival that is battered fish and chips there are grilled and pan-fried options of swordfish, tuna and sea bass. The range of fish on offer and the selection of starters – oysters, scallops, whitebait – really do help to ensure that a visit to The Fish Bar feels like a proper dining experience and not a visit to a sit-down take-away.”

“Food was delicious, felt welcome and relaxed, fair price and good service…a good place to eat!”

“It takes a lot for a fish and chip place to get 5 stars from me but this one really is fantastic! They are actually a fishmongers that have branched out – that’s what makes this place so damn great, the fish is so fresh (and that’s tough to find in London) They do take out in biodegradable boxes, which is lovely and convenient at the same time. I do miss it wrapped in newspaper though – remember those days!”
